This beat was a lot of fun to make. I remember I'd just finished a university coursework deadline and was excited to have some time to produce again, cause I'd been sitting on this piano sample for a day or so and knew there were some crazy chops to be flipped. My first flip was the second melody, which I was unbelievably gassed on, particularly the emotion that the keys had and the overall atmosphere. I flipped the first melody to act as an intro/interlude to the main one, sort of giving the track room to breathe and then have the main melody hit harder when it came back in. Cause of that when I remastered and re worked this beat I went all out on the bass for the main flip, wanting it to hit crazily hard to emphasise that emotional weight and impact.
